Earlier this year, for our April Fools' joke, we decided to pull off a rather cheeky prank that caught a lot of you by surprise. In a bold move, we announced our "official" switch from being a merit badge retailer for dogs to — cats.

We couldn’t resist getting creative with the visuals, making them as convincing as possible. From tongue-in-cheek badge designs like “Emotionally Distant,” “Aloof Floof,” and “Fits and Sits,” we had a blast poking fun at our feline friends' quirks. The prank was all in good humour, but little did we know that through this lighthearted jest, we’d uncover something bigger.

Turns out, the public really wanted cat merit badges. We definitely fooled some of our Instagram audience—at first—but the feedback was unmistakable: "Give us merit badges for our cats!" And you know what? We listened.

A few months later, after plenty of design work and brainstorming, we’re thrilled to announce our first drop of real cat merit badges. Yes, they’re finally here! And there’s more on the way. 

This project has been an eye-opener. It made us realise just how overlooked cats are in the retail space when it comes to accessories. We're doing our part to change that and give cats the attention they deserve.

These badges aren’t just for fun—they’re a celebration of the things that make cats so endearing to us. So whether your cat is a mischievous adventurer or a cozy homebody, there's a badge that will suit them perfectly.
